Twin Bun Tutorial for Mr. Wickherst by Choco-la-te Twin Bun Tutorial for Mr. Wickherst by Choco-la-te
sorry i misspelled your name! ^^;;

after reading an article about a single dad who took it upon himself to learn how to do hair so he could make sure his daughter was stylish, i decided to share a little tutorial on one of my favourite hairstyles. you see it a lot on various anime and cartoon characters, such as Dori from Magical DoReMi (Ojamajo Doremi) and Chun-Li from Street Fighter. bonus points since if you have a good stock of fabric, you can coordinate it with the outfit you (or whoever is wearing the buns) are wearing! ^^

in case you can't read cursive, the instructions are as follows:

You Will Need:
4 Hair Elastics
2 Barrettes (4 if needed)
2 Fabric Squares (any fabric will do, provided it's flexible; most quilting cottons are perfect and come in a super-wide range of colours and patterns; 5x5" should do but you may need to increase or decrease the size depending on how much hair you have)
1 Willing Participant

1. Gather the hair into 2 pigtails. Placement should be high and towards the middle of the side of the head.
2. Twist the pigtail until it begins to coil. This part may pinch a bit, so be gentle, but firm.
3. The hair will coil into a bun on its own as you twist, and when it's done, pin it in place with a Barrette. (if your hair is thick like mine, you might use a second one to clip the other side, so it can't slip out of the first Barrette.)
4. Drape the fabric square over the bun, making sure the sides are even. Carefully secure with an elastic.
